New versions of the MacBook Pro have been released today. They come loaded with 2.4/2.5/2.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Penryn processors, and new trackpad which allows for multi-touch gestures. Hard Drive storage is now 200/250GB, two SO-DIMM slots (PC2-5300 DDR2-667MHz) support up to 4GB, also the MacBook Pro has 800MHz frontside bus. For graphics, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics processor with dual-link DVI support; 256MB of GDDR3 memory on 2.4GHz configuration; 512MB of GDDR3 memory on 2.5GHz and 2.6GHz configurations.
The fabled MacBook Air actually exists. Announced at MacWorld 2008, it’s ultra-thin, Intel Core 2 Duo processor (1.6GHz or 1.8GHz), 13.3 inch widescreen - L.E.D. backlit, 2GB of 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM, large multi-touch trackpad, backlit keyboard with ambient light sensor for automatic adjustment of keyboard illumination and screen brightness.

Apple today announced (via a news release) that more than 1 million copies of Safari for Windows were downloaded in the first 48 hours since the free public beta was made available on Monday.
