Stephen Chow, one of Asia’s most popular box-office draws as the award-winning star and director of such films as Kung Fu Hustle, CJ7, and Shaolin Soccer, will direct Seth Rogen and star opposite him as Kato in Columbia Pictures’ The Green Hornet, set for release June 25, 2010, it was announced today by Doug Belgrad and Matt Tolmach

D’leh is an outcast trying to prove that he belongs with the tribe. A tribe elder, Tic’Tic leads his people in their customs and mentor to D’leh. An unexpexted attack from “Four legged Demons” destroyed the village, killed and kidnapped some tribe members including Evolet, the hero’s sweetheart.

So, D’leh, Tic’Tic, Baku and Ka’Ren made it their mission to rescue their people. In their journey, they found other tribes that also fell victim to the same enemies. All the tribes banded together against the army of four legged Demons and their God-like Tyrant. So far, so good right?

Sadly, they spoiled the movie with dumb dialogue. Which really “rosak” the movie mood and settings. If you’re gonna bring the audience into an ancient world with tribal warriors, mammoths and saber-tooth tigers, please don’t say things like “Do you see that star over there?…” ( lame old-school pick-up line) or “Do not eat me!…” (too stupid, not funny). This made it sound very out of place. Dialogues are supposed to be the soul 0f the story and keeps you in that world.

10,000 B.C. started out kinda okay as it introduced the characters… then became predictable midway, and had a fairy-tale ending. The special effects was the only thing that made this movie watchable. Maybe if I pushed the mute button, I wouldn’t have to hear those ridiculous dialogues.

Rejected Iron Man Costume Design
